Refer a Friend: the Rules

In short: when a new family joins MathsHaqs through your personal link and has paid for two months, you get 1 month free (£8 off). You can earn up to 6 free months in total.

How it works

1. Every MathsHaqs family has a personal referral link. You'll find it in your welcome email and in our Saturday emails.
2. A new family joins by opening your link and signing up through the website.
3. When the new family has paid for two months and is still subscribed, £8 credit is added to your account automatically. The credit comes off your next monthly bill. Nothing is taken off before the new family's second payment.
4. We'll email you to confirm that your free month has been added. A copy of that email goes to MathsHaqs.

An example

• You get 2 different families to join through your link, and both have paid for two months: you get 2 free months (£16 off your bills).
• You get 3 different families: 3 free months (£24 off). 4 families: 4 free months, and so on.
• It counts different families who each pay for two months, so one family can't count twice.
• The most you can earn is 6 free months, however many families you refer after that.

The maximum

• You can earn a maximum of 6 free months in total. That is 6 qualifying referrals and £48 of credit.
• After you reach 6, your link still works and your friends can still join, but no further free months are added.
• The limit applies to each family, for the whole time you're with us. It does not reset.

What counts as a qualifying referral

All of these must be true:

• The family is new to MathsHaqs: nobody in that household has had a MathsHaqs subscription before.
• They signed up through your link, on or after 2 November 2026.
• They have made two successful monthly payments. For GCSE Foundation, the 5 November payment counts as the first.
• Their subscription is still active when the credit is added, and neither payment has been refunded.
• You are still a paying member when the credit is added.

What does not count

• Signing up yourself, or someone in your household, using your own link.
• Families who joined with a free or 100% discount code.
• Families who have been MathsHaqs members before and come back.
• Sign-ups that were cancelled and refunded.
• Sign-ups not made through your link. If a friend forgets to use your link, message us on WhatsApp or email info@mathshaqs.com before they pay and we'll add it by hand.

The free month

• The reward is account credit, not cash. It has no cash value, can't be withdrawn or transferred, and only reduces your MathsHaqs bill.
• Each qualifying referral adds £8.
• If you cancel, any unused credit is lost.
• Credit is added once a week, so it may take up to 7 days after the new family's second payment.

Fair use

• We check every referral. If we find a referral is not genuine (for example fake sign-ups, or families made up to earn credit), we may refuse or remove the credit, and end your place in the scheme.
• Our decision on whether a referral qualifies is final.
• We may change or end the scheme at any time. We'll tell you first, and any credit you've already earned stays on your account.
